No. 14 - Cereal

Basically, I don't trust breakfast cereal that floats. After some discussion as to what might be a good breakfast substitute to cold fish and potatoes for those not so inclined, Alafina bought a variety of Chilean and Argentine cereals before we sailed. But they're all sugar coated with packaging aimed at the pre-school market; there are several chocolate-flavored types; they come in a variety of day-glow colors; and they all float.

It's the cumulative affect of small irritations that can drive one to do irrational things. A colleague generously put out his stash of Wheat Chex a few days ago and like a deranged psychopath I ate half of them.
