Just finished up a day of interviews for British Channel 4's upcoming "Future Sex" documentary. At one point, the show's host and I both had vibrators down our pants as people vibed us from across the 'net.

Yay! With the help of the folks at FeelThe.net, I got my dildonics setup working. Yup, you can now control a set of 4 sex toys in my room from a web control panel. At this point, it requires a 5 meg download of a Java Machine or something, but it does work. If you want to download it now, you can be ready to test it with me on tomorrow's radio show.

11.18.2001 My Disney Weekend Report: Monsters, Inc was so freakin' good it counter-balanced the "Facts of Life" Reunion that was on Sunday night. My Weekend Nature Report: The meteor shower was amazing...but an even tie with the narciciss bulbs flowering on my desk. Sometimes the major events remind me of the everyday miracles.

11.16.2001 My porn connection, Video Age, is offering 4 Jenna movies for 24.95. This includes Dreamquest and Conquest which are both on my top ten list. Usually you can pic out another selected 4 pack for $5, too. Since I have those, I'm ordering 4 Jenna Jameson movies for $5.95. I mention these because 1)I encourage porn viewing. 2) I order from Video Age and 3) I get a cut when you order from there.

I heard a song that sounded like Perry Ferrel durring the last episode of "24" (Okay, so I watch *some* TV). I went about finding the track 2 ways: 1) I downloaded every Perry Ferrel song I didn't recognize off Audio Galaxy while 2) searched the FOX fan message boards. At almost the same time (reading boards vs. listening to songs) I discovered that the song was "Did You Forget." Yay internet!

There is a 2 page story in Entertainment Weekly about the 1000 Journals Project. Personally, I read EW so that I don't have to watch TV. Its odd, I find reading a rag like EW or People much more embarassing than reading Playboy (which I also subscribe to).

Kid Rock's new album is called "cocky"? Whoa.

11.15.2001 The radio show yesterday was actually pretty cool. It was tough without Jason, but everyone who showed up was a good sport. And in the last half, I seemed to be possesed by some Kareoke Demon writing improv songs about pornography and monkeys. I'm actually kinda sorry there's no archive.

11.12.2001 Spent the afternoon with my cousin Tracy and her 9 month old, Harper. Harper and I have spent this year's Burn and the Season Premiere of The Simpsons together. I try to imagine what a life of Burning Mans and Simpsons re-runs would do for a child...it gives me hope. (Rob: Harper mentioned that you might check styn.net before she gets home... so she wanted me to pass on 2 things: 1) We all miss you and wish you were here. 2) The creamed organic spinach lasagna gets a 2 out 5 possible stars and goes great with breast milk)

11.11.2001 Ken Kesey died. He took the final bus to "further." Tom Wolfe's Electric Kool Aid Acid Test (which is ABOUT, not BY Kesey) was huge in attracting me to the counterculture.

11.10.2001 Back from Mexico. 4 hours in Mexico. Then 2 hours at the border in line. coming home. Searched the car, had me get out. No hard feelings, I understand the need.

I'm planning on heading down to Mexico for lobster in a couple hours. Sometimes being in a border town is cool. (*not* to be confused with "Barter Town" which has gone to hell since Tina Turner stopped enforcing the Thunderdome.)

holy shit...I woke up to a back full of pinched nerves. With MissM and Mindblur's help, I made it onto the recliner and suffered through daytime television. Thank god for Comedy Central. My body is broken right now. I guess my internal messaging system telling me to slow down and be introspective for a while. Its like being in prison...except the bars are internal. I don;t think I can take much more of this...I need to talk to the warden! Heh...sorry about that...sometimes I panic a bit. But I am able to type for brief periods...so things are looking up!
