No new radio show today. :( But a "best of" Marathon starting at 3pm Pacific. And Hug Nation at 6.

For the first time in forever....I'm not dressed up on Halloween. Not sure if its my recent depression, the dressing up last weekend, the fact that "terror" isn't fun anymore, my lack of funds, or simply that my lifestyle has so much non-holiday dressing up in it... But as I sit here in normal clothes I feel...defeated.

How strange...last night I was energized and ready to take on the world. Today I fell into a funk and feel dissatisfied with everything I'm doing.

I went to see Jane's Additiction tonight. My 6th time seeing them. Wow. What an amazing show. Some persuasion, a discarded wristband, and some chewing gum and I made it down to the floor. Perry looked great. He was lucid and smiling and sending out good vibes. He and Dave Narvarro were sending out serious sex energy into the crowd. And the Burning Man influences in the stage decor made me smile. (There was a giant See-Saw and other cool shit.)

10.28.2001 Dressed in drag for our TRH party last night. Had fun for the most part. I wrote more on the RealHouse Blog.

10.27.2001 The Halloween celebrations have begun. Went to a pumpkin carving contest on Thursday. My entry tried to encorperate Rubber Debbie, but has some engineering chalenges. The other pumpkins were awesome. One friend carved his into a VW bus. Creative geniuses, I tell ya! Last night was the first dress up party. MissM and I went as The Norse Gods of Affection: Hugulan and Hugulina. (Hey, any excuse I have to wear my vibrating jock...). Incredible party, incredible costumes. Tonight is a party at theRealHouse. Tune in with a webcam and a costume and I'll float you a day pass. (Shoot me an IM vis CitizenX)

10.25.2001 The radio show had technical trouble yesterday, but we played web pictionary instead. I pointed the cam at my paper and then people tried to guess what I was drawing (in chat). People could suggest the next topic via an IM. It was very cool. Thanks for playing!

No new radio show today. But an archive should be up...and HugNation will still go as planned at 6. We may have to explore other methods of broadcasting the radio show. Any ideas?

I realized that I was unhappy with the old font used on Globalgasm's logo. It was too corse and unrefined....So I stayed up til 5am changing globalgasm.com. Maybe once I've slept I'll know if it is an improvement or not. Feedback (sober) welcome.

Yesterday was a day of connecting with friends. Had a wonderful lunch with Barbarella who just returned from New York. Evening was a birthday gathering for OrangeShonda. I laughed so hard I may have dislodged internal organs. Kaya, Dlove, DigitalPunk (Who is getting a SWEET new tattoo), Valerie and Veronica, plus more good friends who don't have websites.

10.12.2001 I just finished a first draft of my "Demo Reel." It was my first video editing project...I'm stoked! Its about 17 minutes long and has clips from STUDS, SXSW, The Webbies, Hot Tub TV, RealHouseTV, and more craziness. Now I need to polish it, get a headshot, and convince Oprah to have my baby. Errr...I mean have me on her show. (p.s. If you know anyone who knows anyone who I should send a "HugNation Press Pack" to, lemmie know!

10.8.2001 Well, I forgot to post my Season 3 Goals for TheRealHouse. And, as decided in a previous house meeting, I must pay the penalty. I have to sleep outside on the pool furniture tonight. A pic of our outdoor slumber party is posted on TheRealHouse weblog.
