Ahhhh. Got my computer fixed. And had them throw in a 40 Gig drive while I was there. Now, I asked them to partition it, but it just has one 40 Gig D drive. Is that a bad idea? Is there anything I can/should do now? OR should I just "strap myself in and feel the G's"?

1.19.2001 We did a photo shoot at the House tonight. A professional photographer brought backdrops and props, and we acted out scenes from A Midsummer Night's Dream in the nude. I played the role of Lysander and (for one scene) Bottom.

And speaking of ads...there is a new radio commercial for the california lottery that sounds ALOT like the improvised scat songs that Kaya and I did. Have you heard the ad? Last night a bunch of friends invaded a normally quiet wine bar and turned it into a HIP spot. Friends of friends run it and invited two of our MANY DJ friends to spin tunes there. I guess the key to be a successful promoter is having LOTS of freinds.

1.13.2001 I just moved into my new room @TheRealHouse. It's RED. But it has a full-wall sliding glass door/window. So I can have TONS of plants and put all my potted plants right outside. When spring comes, I can plant flowers outside the window. *grin*

Heh. It's funny how people's intent can be different than the effect. Someone wrote to cheer me up, but in their post was: "...I discovered your site is because a lot of girls I dance with forwarded your web page around as a joke. The word "cliche" was used to describe you, comparing your writing to 'an eighth grader's.'" Gee, um...Thanks! Maybe I'm just getting down since I just called to cancel my cable connection. And preparing to vacate my stuff from my apartment.

Internet connection at home is back up. Whew. I am SO techno-dependent.

While at the porn convention, I bought a dvd with "multiple camera angles" I had heard about that and it sounded pretty cool. But It doesn't seem to do anything on my cmp's dvd player. And the movie is pretty lame, too. I guess I'm back to holding a mirror (from different angles) up to my goodies while I play with myself.

Okay, it stopped raining. I'm done being sick now. The weather knocked out the Internet connection of the RealHouse. Luckily the cable modem still works so I can update from Kelly's computer. I'm taking this down time to prepare for moving rooms; sorting through papers, etc. I'm moving into a room with MissM and giving up my apartment. It's a luxery I simply can't afford anymore. :( So, I'll be going from having my own hardwood floor, high ceiling studio apartment to living with 7 people in a house and sharing a room. Life is change.

It's pouring rain in San Diego. And my nose is stockpiling mucus. Something so *right* about being sick on a rainy day.

1.10.2001 Just finished the radio show. We cut it early today. If you listen to the show on archive (I'll publish the link tomorrow) let me know if you think I should have kept going, or if I was wise to stop whjen the momentum waned. And start thinking of a cool question for next week's show. I get pretty boring after 4 or 5 minutes. Calls make it sooo much more entertaining. Or maybe we should go back to crank calling porn catalogs...hmmmm.

get this: I'm speaking at my alma matter (U of Redlands) tonight on a panel of "Distinguished Greek Alumni." Ha!!!! I'll be doing my radio show from there at 5pm and talking about the Adult Video Awards and convention.

I'm feeling pretty silly for trying to sell a product (ClubCX/TheRealHouse) to try to raise money for CX. Perhaps voluntary support is the most effective way to keep free services alive. I know I sent the good folks at Pyra $5. It's a great freakin' product.

Local brushfires tint the sky. Ash covers the ground outside like satanic snowfall. The pool filter struggles to clean itself of soot.

1.2.2001 Reply to obnoxious post in my CX guestbook: Don't take this the wrong way...But you have a bad attitude. And not in the cool "Mr. T" way. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO USE CITIZENX. If it makes you this irate, please go elsewhere. It costs us money to keep the site running every month. We all have day jobs and try to keep it up the best we can. If that isn't good enough for you, I apologize. But there are many sites on the web to try out. They may welcome the kind of disrespect that you seem prone to dish out. This is OUR community. If you would like to offer assistance (in the way of time or money) towards improving it, please let me know. I would be a lot more open to mean-spirited criticism if this was a job/money-making thing. But I feel like I've given enough. Like I don't "owe" people anything if they disrespect me. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe it *would* be a money-maker if I just smiled and said thanks.

I'm hoping that my brain's current level of functioning is due to post-celebration grogginess...and not an indication of my mindset for the coming year.
