I strolled into a club last night with my friends, the Vibe Tribe. Extremely beautiful, stylish, creative women…WHO TWIRL FIRE. Dancing with them was amazing. Our half Lambada- half Brazilian marshal art movements cleared us a portion of the dancefloor. I told them, “I have loads of porn at home…but it’s nowhere near as erotic as your dancing." Here’s a picture of us. Yes, I love my life.

9.29.2000

Have a raging Rosh Hashanah!

At Fray Day, I finally got to meet Succa. After this picture, it's clear we should start a band.

PhotoMaster Julian was at Fray Day. He caught an awesome pic of me withthe bee girls. Lots of fun pics in there.

Great feedback on the all-Flash design idea. THANKS.

www.channelsexnews.com is pretty damn cool, too! Less hard news, more attitude fun. "ginger lynn is back in a cumback...now the woman your dad jacked off to is going to star in...New Wave Hookers 7..." It really grew on me...I LOVE it.

9.28.2000

Yesterday's radio show is now online. My brother called in and he is HILARIOUS.

I can't believe the Flash version of cockybastard has been launching the weblog without scroll bars for months. Ugh. Well, it should be fixed now. I'm thinking of redesigning CB and making only a flash version of the site. Would 'flash-only' bug you?

I'm falling in love with the anchorwomen from nakednews.com. Anyone want to work on a "naked election 2000" project? I'd listen to Gore's policy's if they were explained by a naked, curvy brunette. I'm serious!

9.27.2000

Derek posted pics from fray day 4

I entered the TiVo giveaway contest. My entry is here.

Just sent out a cockybastard-gram. You *are* on the list, yes?

Kaycee is on my mind.

Today's radio show topic:
What’s are some of the coolest or lamest things about the 2000 Olympics?
-Swimsuit technology?
-Firm buttocks of gymnasts?
-The fall of the Siberian Tiger?
Heck, maybe we’ll even do some blood-doping on the air.

I like underdog victories.

I wrote a "get well soon" letter to my grandpa that I posted in wrds.

9.26.2000

From The Onion:
Many Viewers May Be Using Olympics-Enhancing Drugs
SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA--The International Olympic Committee announced Monday that it will launch a full-scale investigation in the wake of allegations of Olympics-enhancing drug use by viewers. "We have reason to suspect that as many as 18 million U.S. viewers are artificially increasing their ability to sit through the Sydney Games with illegal substances, particularly marijuana," IOC president Juan Antonio Samaranch said.

I've had a stiff neck since Sat. It's starting to annoy me. And I'm developing an addiction to tiger balm. Mmmm....warm.

My interview with Dan Curry is online. I come in about 20 min into his show.

9.25.2000

The plumber finally came by to snake my shower's hair-clogged drain. The best part about a free-flowin' drain? Peeing in the shower. Ahhhhh.

I'm seriously considering getting an IMAC DV just for making little videos. Am I being silly?

Whoops, forgot to link to this week's Tale

Finally found a link to the Philippine article about me. Interesting read, I think.

9.24.2000

some pictures from Fray 4.

I'll be on Dan Curry radio today at 4:00pm pacific.

listen in and pop both our CitizenX cams!

9.23.2000

Man-o-man. Fray Day 4 was a blast. I wish it could have gone on all night. There were so many people I didn' t get a chance to say hello to. So many people I could have talked for hours to.

I told a story about STUDS. And it was so fun. A live audiance is a rush. hearing the laughter...having to wait for the audience chuckles to die down before continuing....that was an amzing feeling.

9.22.2000

I'll be on dancurry.com radio on Sunday at 4pm.

Wow, my apartment is actually refreshingly chilly this morning. And the fleas are all but gone. Makes me SO glad I didn't torch the place for insurance money last week.

9.21.2000

I'll be speaking at fray day 4 tomorrow night in San Francisco. I think I'll tell the story of getting on STUDS.
I think Derek goes on at 9 and he said I should be around 9:30.
If you can't make it to the bay, it will be broadcast in streaming MP3. You need winamp or something to hear it. (details on fray.org)

Posted a few new wrds.

Yesterday the San Diego IKEA opened. Today is the Fall Equinox. Do I have to spell it out for you!?

Today's radio show is online.

don't miss jason's new techno theme song.

I have trouble rooting for anyone at the Olympics. I'm so proud of ALL of them. What an accomplishment to just *be* there! Yay Mexico! Yay USA! Yay China!

I guess my over-positive attitude is the reason why I hate sports like gymnastics and equestrian events. They're so focused on the negative.

I hate sports that start at perfect and then you work backwards by how much you fuck up.

I'm so in awe of gymnasts strength and skills that it bothers me to be picking apart the performance. "Gee, after flipping three time through the air he stumbled when he landed? He sucks. That's gonna cost a tenth of a point."

In equestrian, they actually score it by "faults."

9.20.2000

Radio Show today at 5pm Pacific! (as always, I also broadcast naked while doing the show from my CitizenX Spot)

Interesting day.
It *appears* that people who come to my site after hearing that I'm shallow and self absorbed (see below post about UK TV) seem much more inclined to make that judgement of me. Today's hate mail level is MUCH higher than normal. Yet, people who visited after the Webbies generally were to be impressed. Perhaps because the Webbies *told* them that I was impressive? The influence of context is remarkable.

It makes me shudder at the power of media. I know this is EXTREMELY OVERLY SIMPLIFIED, but some people seem to love me or hate me depending on how I'm introduced. The content is the same.

Maybe I'm just a little bruised from the day. It's good for me.

(p.s. I am not fishing for compliments. Don't feel you need to email and tell me that I'm not shallow)

I love discovering pics/etc. from Burning Man past. Here's one of me.
And an 8 minute video taken in 98 that *truly* took me back to the playa. It made me cry and I was dizzy afterwards.

Yesterday, Cockybastard.com was featured in the Philippine Daily Inquirer. Damn, I better start wearing clean underwear on webcam!

9.19.2000

Dumbass John waited too long to buy his plane ticket to go to fray day 4, so now it will cost twice as much.
Times like that are priceless, I guess. I'll see YOU there!

thewebreview is apparently a British TV show that featured cockybastard tonight. And, apparently, they're not fans of my content:
"It’s a beautifully constructed homepage, stuffed full of the inane thoughts of a shallow man who quite clearly has no interest in anything but himself. Cocky bastard. Too right mate, that’s the only sensible thing you’ve said all day"

I think tomorrow's radio show theme will be "shadow impulses." Jung talks about 'em. They're the dark thoughts that you try to ignore. Like wanting to kill the driver next to you. Or wanting to be spanked wearing a diaper. Have you come to terms with your shadow impulses? Call in tomorrow.

I went to another naked dinner party last night. Wasn't it the Bangles who sang, "It' just another Naked Monday, whoa-ooo..."? Life is good. (Thank goodness I re-dyed my pubes this week!)

9.18.2000

RateMyFace.com offers all the skin-deep judgement that ya miss from High School! Should I submit my mug?

9.17.2000

This week's Tale is in the Olympic Spirit!.

Idea by Kaya and Brandon. Flash and writing by Me.

An exerpt from an email exchange I just had.

I just went to a party last night that included some naked people, other people getting taped up with electrical tape, a flogging, a hammock, some dancing, birthday spankings, and me in my vibrating pink fur jock strap.

A List Apart is finally accessible again (through http://alistapart.zeldman.com). If you make web stuff for a living, you should be reading.

9.16.2000

from The Spark newsletter:
"Anyhow, the shirts come in 7 different colors & 4 different sizes, just like vaginas."

Lucky day! I found a memory card of photos from Burning Man that I forgot about! Amazing sunset shots of me, Kaya, and Dlove.

Man, I love this picture

9.15.2000

Fishing was not as relaxing as I expected. I wrote about it in a new wrds entry.

While Steve assured me that fleas are not a biblical plague, he did point out a page that shows good Family Plague Fun!

I'm heading fishing today with all the CitizenX founders. (Guess who *didn't* pick the activity.) I'd much rather go to Magic Mountain.

9.14.2000

Just added two new wrds entries. Hopefully dancing tonight will make me feel better.

9.13.2000

I just sprinkled my hard wood floors with Borax & salt to combat the fleas. *crosses fingers*

I made a message board so we can all send some Healing Love Energy to Kaycee!!!
Note: Her temperature has reached 104 and she has been placed back in critical condition.
Fight, girl. FIGHT.

I can count 16 fleas on my socks right now.

9.12.2000

Tomorrow's radio show (5pm PST) will be about (but is not limited to):

  • Oral sex techniques
  • Can sex be a gesture between friends?
  • And we'll spend a few minutes sending out a radio energy boost to Kaycee. Of course, you can call in and ask anything you want. I'm flexible.
    Won't you join us?

Oh, my. Next time you consider sending your nude pic to someone, consider that you might get rated on The Peepee Files

After I set off my flea bombs last night, I was looking for a way to kill some time. Not 30 minutes later I was invited to a naked dinner party.
My friends rule. (Too bad my pink pubes had lost most their color since I dyed them.)

Here's an interesting look at Burning Man from someone who sees my heaven as their hell.

Just so you know, the bastardRus.com guys doctored this photo of me in Photoshop. Those aren't my real glasses.

9.11.2000

I can't take it anymore. I'm flea-bombing again and sleeping over at my brother's. See you tomorrow.

Our Burning man camp was mentioned in Salon!
"Xara, for instance, was an enclosed synthetic jungle the size of a large diner with a floor made of real grass carefully tended with massive amounts of water. Two huge flaming torches marked the entrance, and fluorescent flowers and vines twisted throughout."

If I have no pets, does that mean the fleas are surviving soley off of my living corpse? Or do they eat other stuff, too?

WH!? My old partner in crime, Poorbob, has been busy with the ol' html editor! Check out his new mojofat.com or reacharound.com. Nice job, PB!

Shit. corrected an error in the monologue/slideshow so it should work now. (Thanks, Jon.) BTW, the audio was recorded on the playa, in front of the Man, just after sunrise.

Damn, this thing is giving me trouble. Let me know if it won't work for you.

I'm still working on my post-burning man reflections. But here's something to tide you over. This pseudo-Tale of the week includes a new monologue/slideshow thing.

9.10.2000

How cool! I'm cited in Rebecca's weblogs: a history and perspective.

Ben Harper is an amazing performer. I was close this time. Close enough to hear him if the mic went out for a second. That man channels a passion that blows my mind. I can only assume he is dragging his fingers in the divine stream. The same way Bob Marley did.

I'm off to day 3 of Street Scene. Tonight I plan on actually listening to a performer (Ben Harper.) Last two nights I've enjoyed just walking around and smiling at people. I even wore my pink fur pants last night. (note: drunk people love fur pants.)

So, Wired sent me a little device so I can use my computer to scan advertisements from Wired Magazine. Then it will send me to the company website associated with the ad, I guess. It seems like a phenomenal expense. Maybe because I have ZERO intention of installing potentially conflicting drivers on my computer so that I can have a richer advertising experience.

Happy Birthday, Kaycee!!!!!!!
You inspire me every day. You're always in my thoughts. I look forward to all the love you'll bring into the world during the next year!
((HUGE hug))

9.9.2000

I went to San Diego's Street Scene last night. Gonna go again tonight. They close off the streets and all ages drink together in the plastic cup-filled gutters. Fuuuun.

9.8.2000

I'm still writing down my Burning man reflections. But if you want to see some pics of my costume(s), I put together a quick and dirty photo gallery.

I should explain the 'Hugulets' :

I made these furry foam arm bands that would intensify any hug I gave. I would thump the hugulets against a persons back...getting harder and harder untill it was like a Swedish massage. As the week progressed I found that I got *better* at using them. When combined with the vibrating jock strap I made, it was a pretty intense hug. I asked people if they were over 18 years old before I would submit them to the Hugulets.

My fleas are back.
I guess I should consider myself lucky to have so many adoring pets.
Sorry, Sparky...time for more flea-bombs.

9.7.2000

Todd needs a scanned jpg of your high school photo. He'd do it for you.

Kacee is stable and I'm feeling much better, too! Today is gonna be a great day!

9.6.2000

Kaycee is in critical condition. Pray for her. Send love. Please do whatever your spirit can do.

The "Feel the Luv" radio show starts today 5 to 5:30 PST! To call in to the Radio Show about on Burning Man: 1-877-986-9200

LISTEN LIVE = live broadcast

Feeling a bit better today. My brain is now only 50% mucus (down from 80% yesterday).

Still reflecting on Burning Man.

9.5.2000

I'm home safe.
Body battered. Mind bruised. Immune system taxed. I may be in bed for a few days. I'll try to put my thoughts together.

This Burning Man was wonderful. This Burning Man was terrible. Much like life.
